ISCC Certificate EU
The ISCC Standard Certification is a scheme for a Sustainability Management System based on the criteria of the EU and the RED (Renewable Energy Directive of the European Union), obtained through the certification body Control Union – Argentina.
ISCC is one of the leading systems for ensuring sustainability and verifying that greenhouse gas emission factors comply with permissible values according to European Union criteria. In 2010, it became the first globally recognized system by German authorities. In July 2011, the European Commission acknowledged ISCC as one of the first certification systems meeting the requirements of the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) of the EU.
Certification was achieved through the certification body Control Union:
Unit I:
- Corn Ethanol - Nov 2015.
- Corn Oil - Dec 2019.
- Sugarcane Ethanol - Jun 2022.
Unit II:
- Corn Ethanol - May 2021.
- Biodiesel from Corn Technical Oil - Nov 2022.
- Corn Oil - ISCC waste - Mar 2023.
- Biodiesel from UCO (Used Cooking Oil), Soybean Biodiesel - May 2023.
- Collecting Points for Suppliers – UCO and TCO (Including Brazil Plants of TCO – Inpasa) - May 2023.
With ISCC Standard Certification, compliance with all sustainability requirements outlined by the RED can be verified.
