2BSvs Certificate

The 2BSvs Certification was obtained on February 2, 2016, based on the production of sustainable biomass.

The inclusion of corn producers into the scheme occurred in November 2020, and later, in June 2022, the Sugar Cane production line was certified under STD 01 (collectors of agricultural raw materials).

In Unit II, the extension of STD 01 (collectors of agricultural raw materials) to Corn Ethanol was achieved in May 2020, along with the inclusion of corn producers into the scheme in November 2020.

The Certification was obtained through the Certification Company Control Union. The goal of the voluntary scheme for Sustainable Biomass and Biofuels, 2BSvs, is to demonstrate compliance with sustainability criteria set by the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) through an independent audit. This is aimed at producers, collection agents, processors, and marketers of biomass and biofuels.
