Code of Business Ethics
In INPASA del Paraguay S.A.:
- We provide and commit to maintain:
- A safe and healthy workplace for all people linked to the activities of the organization;
- Working hours and salaries paid according to the defendant by local businesses, and according to the laws in force;
- Development of the communities in the region, in which we act as an economic actor;
- Environmental protection with sustainable production practices, complying with applicable standards and environmental regulations;
- Freedom to form associations and collective labor agreements to all our employees, according to the laws;
- Appropriate communication channels for employees, customers and partners present their complaints and suggestions in order to continuously improve;
- Proper training for our employees, ensuring a culture based on dignity, respect, and fulfillment of all human rights for personal development as active members of society;
- Effective and appropriate systems to prevent fraud or bribery practices that harm the transparency of the activities of the company and its organizational integrity;
- A selection process and promotion of our employees solely on their individual skills and attributes.
- Prohibit:
- Any type of exploitation or child labor in our various links of production, according to existing laws;
- Forced or compulsory labor, our workers have the freedom to start and finish their employment relationship with the company within the limits established by law;
- Discrimination of any kind, we do not allow harassment or abuse (physical or verbal);
- Practices that violate business ethics, the laws of the country or against human rights by our employees, customers and suppliers.
- Respect:
- The rights of traditional communities and peoples;
- The proper use of agricultural land, besides the protection of the associated natural resources (water, air, wildlife, etc.);
- Land use rights, as established in the country and by international agreements.
We strengthen our commitment to comply with laws, rules, regulations and requirements in force in labor, economic, social and environmental fields as indivisible pillars of our organization.
